SoBran has been ISO 9001:2000 Certified since 2005. The ISO 9001:2000 Standard was revised last November and released as 9001:2008. There are no new requirements; only clarifications to the already existing requirements, addressing interpretation concerns. Some companies did the very minimum to meet ISO 9001:2000 requirements. Those are the companies that will have to make changes to their Quality Management System to meet the new ISO 9001:2008 Standard. But, that is not SoBran. We were audited in June and met the requirements of the new standard. We hold to our ‘Quality Policy Statement’ of exceeding standards in satisfying customer requirements today and continually improving our services, technology, materials, and products.
It is an accomplishment and we are proud to show we are certified to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard. Our certification is held through DNV. They are our 3rd Party Registrar that certifies our compliance to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard.
