SoBran is delighted to announce that David Steffan has been chosen as this past quarter’s recipient of the Employee of the Quarter Award (January – March 2024).
David works as an Inventory Management Specialist (IMS) at SoBran’s federal government site in Rockville, MD. During the last quarter, there was an unexpected absence at his work site. David went above and beyond his normal responsibilities by volunteering to perform the duties of his former position as site dispatcher. While serving as the dispatcher for the site, which is recognized as a full-time position, he also continued to complete his work as an IMS without adding additional work to the other IMS personnel. David was recognized by his coworkers for his commitment to the mission, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others without hesitation. His cheerful demeanor is always a morale booster in the warehouse, and his experience serving in multiple roles makes him an asset for training and assisting personnel in various departments throughout the contract. These qualities motivated many of his coworkers to nominate David for this well-deserved award.
In recognition of his outstanding performance, dedication, and professionalism, David will receive a plaque, $250.00 Visa card, and one paid day off.
Congratulations, David!
We are so proud to have David as a member of the SoBran team, as well as Josiah Hamilton (BioScience) and Russell Shavatt (SafeMail), who were also nominated during the subject quarter and received complimentary comments for their outstanding performance. We certainly hope they continue their exceptional work in the years to come.
