I am delighted to announce that Mehran Esteghamat-Rad has been chosen as this past quarter’s recipient of the Employee of the Quarter Award (July-September 2023).
Mehran works in SoBran’s BioScience Division. He was recently promoted to a Histology Technician at our animal research site located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Prior to his promotion, he was a Program Support Specialist (PSS) supporting multiple Maryland contract sites. During this past quarter, his performance has been outstanding and well representative of SoBran.
On several occasions, Mehran volunteered to assist SoBran at sites outside of his normal work location. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure his responsibilities were completed effectively and on time. Mehran’s coworkers and client staff raved about his positive attitude and desire to assist during staffing shortages or whenever a teammate needed assistance. He is respected for his commitment to providing the best care for the animals we are entrusted with managing.

In recognition of his outstanding performance, dedication, and professionalism, Mehran will receive a plaque, $250.00 Visa card, and one paid day off.
We are so proud to have Mehran as a member of the SoBran team. We certainly hope he continues the exceptional work in the years to come.
In addition, Mehran’s selection makes him eligible to be nominated, at the end of this calendar year, for the Cindy Carmichael Employee of the Year Award. As a reminder, this award will be presented annually in the month of December. The recipient will receive a check for $1000.00 and a plaque recognizing their selection. Only those employees selected as Employee of the Quarter during the calendar year will be eligible.
As with past recipients of this award, Mehran’s performance should inspire us all to grow together and reach new heights towards the common goal of making SoBran a better organization. Thank you for all that you do daily!
