July 23, 2013 – (Fairfax, VA) SoBran, Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM). This contract provides on-site vehicle maintenance and repair services for the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, including the provision of equipment, parts, products and supplies. The current contract value is $1M with a period of performance of three years with one 5-year renewal option.
With this award, SoBran builds on its current Guantanamo contract to provide warehousing management and support services at the Naval Station. The company also has a long history of supporting the Navy’s Fleet Readiness Command Southeast in Jacksonville, FL.
