US Attorney General: “We are at a dangerous time.”
Eric Holder, the US Attorney General, recently spoke out about the current mix of bomb-makers from Yemen with foreign fighters in Syria. These bombs may be small enough to fit in a mobile phone, prompting the TSA to require devices to be powered on for travelers from certain areas.
When asked whether that threat was a “clear and present danger,” Mr. Holder answered: “I think it is. In some ways, it’s more frightening than anything I think I’ve seen as attorney general.”
There have not been any specific warnings about bombs in the US Mail reported. Lately white powder incidences have consumed the news. However, Eric Holder’s statements are a good reminder that bomb detection is also essential.
