Seminar: Retirement of Nonhuman Primates in Research

Retiring laboratory animals has become more popular among the research and lab animal community in recent years. This panel discussion will focus on the importance of lab animal retirement, discuss some barriers that prevent the initiation of a successful retirement program, provide different viewpoints from the research and sanctuary community, and offer practical advice on how to start an NHP retirement program at your institution. SoBran’s Kristina Carter will participate as a panellist for this seminar.
