SoBran, Inc. is delighted to announce that Tim Daughtery has been chosen as this past quarter’s recipient of the Employee of the Quarter Award (April-June 2023).
Tim works as a Research Technician in SoBran’s BioScience Division at one of our Norfolk, Virginia animal research facilities. During this past quarter, his performance has been outstanding and well representative of SoBran.
While Tim’s team has been shorthanded and without a Facility Manager, Tim stepped up to address most of the non-human primate husbandry (during the week). In addition, he conducted weekend rabbit rounds which he isn’t required to do. On occasion, he’s volunteered to assist his coworkers by training them on rabbit procedures. Tim consistently ensures the safety of our animals by conducting multiple checks of the facility for compliance with established policies and procedures. Tim’s coworkers consider him the “the eyes and ears” of their facility and respect his “knowledge and professionalism.” Our clients value his opinion related to everything from breeding to behavioral concerns.

In recognition of his outstanding performance, dedication, and professionalism, Tim will receive a plaque, $250.00 Visa card, and one paid day off.
We are so proud to have Tim as a member of the SoBran team. We certainly hope he continues the exceptional work in the years to come.
In addition, Tim’s selection makes him eligible to be nominated, at the end of this calendar year, for the Cindy Carmichael Employee of the Year Award. As a reminder, this award will be presented annually in the month of December. The recipient will receive a check for $1000.00 and a plaque recognizing their selection. Only those employees selected as Employee of the Quarter during the calendar year will be eligible.
As with past recipients of this award, Tim’s performance should inspire us all to grow together and reach new heights towards the common goal of making SoBran a better organization. Thank you for all that you do on a daily basis!
