SoBran CEO Reappointed as Federal Reserve Bank Director

– (Fairfax, VA) SoBran, Inc., a leading provider of biomedical research support, engineering, logistics, security and SafeMail mail screening services, today announces their Founder and CEO Mr. Amos Leon Otis was reappointed to a second 3-year term as a Director of the Cincinnati Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Mr. Otis has been serving since January 2012.

Mr. Otis has deep roots in the Cincinnati region. SoBran, the company he founded twenty-nine years ago, received its first large contract from the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. It set the foundation for what is now a growing $65 million revenue business employing approximately 841 people in 13 states and Guantanamo Bay Naval Base (GTMO).

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks that, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., comprise the Federal Reserve System.

Each Reserve Bank’s main office has a nine-member board of directors. Serving as a link between the public and the Federal Reserve, these directors participate in the formulation of monetary policy as well as overseeing the Reserve Bank’s operations and corporate governance.
